I feel excited to welcome you here! This website is a reflection of my world and home to my heart, Simha Centre,  from which the various experiential projects derive that I am dreaming up, organizing, and facilitating.

What's in the name?
Simha is Hebrew for 'joy' or 'joyfull'. Simha is also Sanskrit for 'power' and most often translated to 'lion' or 'lioness'; the lioness is considered in many ancient cultures as a lunar symbol and symbolizes feminine power. Thus, Simha Centre represents my Joyfull Lioness' Heart as an archetype and finds her expression in various experiential projects that are dedicated to research, transform, and integrate conciousness on all levels, by direct expression and lived experience.

These projects - in fact, projections of my heart - are gatherings, rituals, ceremonies, dance workshops, and various conscious events in which I combine my educations (as a Psychosocial Therapist, NLP-Practitioner and Social-Cultural Anthropologist); my experience; and my passions for indigenous wisdom, ritual, mythology, sensorial experience, dance, dreamwork and consciousness research.

I'm currently planting many seeds of the projects that I am dreaming up and in the meantime gaining more experiential knowledge in those areas myself by conducting research - creating my own dream-curriculum. This is my full-time occupation. I am allowing myself full-time to awaken my creative energy and actively plant the seeds of the fruits I dream to harvest. Some projects have not yet manifested themselves in flesh and blood but are in loving labour.

Simha Centre works closely with Colibri Heart Enterprises, founded by my partner Guy Barrington.; together we carry a joint venture, Gardeners of Eden. Furthermore there is a multicultural and multidisciplinary collaboration with coaches, trainers, healers, musicians, dancers, and artists.

As I am constantly studying within my self-created curriculum, I am also constantly updating this website with new articles, e-books, video's, links and events to make this an inspirational place for you to hang out. I invite you to explore my website and hope there is something that sparks your interest and inspiration.

    A deep Journey on the back of the Shaman's Drum as a rhythmical vehicle to Non-Ordinary Reality. The steady heartbeat of the Drum and monotonous sounds

* Awaken your Sensuality
   Creative Sensuality Coaching, working with sharing, NLP techniques, breathing exercises, energy work, (self) massage, nature experience, and mostly: dance!
* W.O.W. - Women of Wisdom
   Workshops with women of wisdom  -  magnificent teachers from all over the world - in the fields of sensuality, sacred sexuality, sexual shamanism, tantra, temple arts,
   feminine embodiment, kundalini energy etc.
* Goddess Gatherings
   Gatherings of women in which we recognize ourselves and each other as Goddesses, as women, share the wisdom of ancient traditions and rituals, and
   celebrate our femininity, through sharing, dance, massage and a sacred sauna ceremony. 
* Selene Circles
   Gatherings of women during their menstrual time to be at-one with each other and the changes occurring in their bodies. Sharing wisdom about Menarche,
   Menstruation, Menopause, and Motherhood. Forget about healthy food, let's share dark chocolate and red wine!
